Our kindergarten classes offer children the full range of materials developed by Maria Montessori across the five areas of her pedagogy, with a French-English bilingual immersion program.

Each half-day, the children are free to choose their activities from the 5 main areas of Montessori teaching, to which we have added activities inspired by the Reggio approach.
Exercises to develop independence, concentration and fine motor skills in preparation for writing.
The teaching material helps them to hone their 5 senses, which will help them to perceive the world more clearly.
The teaching materials include numbers up to 9999, 4 operations and the beginnings of geometry.
Activities to enrich French and English vocabulary, learning to read in both languages, writing and grammar.
Practical study of science, geography and history.
Children also benefit from a wide range of equipment to stimulate creativity, a nature table to follow the seasons, and a reading corner with a library. There is also a sensory table, Reggio workshops, sports, music and art classes.

Answers to specific questions parents have about Montessori kindergarten
Absolutely. Young children adapt naturally and quickly to Montessori teaching methods. Our educators accompany each child individually during the adaptation period, which generally lasts a few weeks. This transition is made much easier by the free choice of activities and the fact that the child's rhythm is respected.
We have a dedicated rest room where children can have a nap after lunch. Each child has his or her own cot and we respect each child's sleeping patterns. Children who are no longer napping take part in quiet activities in a circle with the English-speaking teacher.
No, this is not an obligation. We support families in toilet training at their child's own pace. Our classrooms have adapted toilets and our educators are trained to support this stage gently, in line with the Montessori philosophy of progressive autonomy.
Yes, subject to availability. Montessori's multi-age environment makes it easy to integrate children at any time of the year. We organise a personalised adaptation period to help children find their feet quickly.
Yes, and well beyond traditional expectations. Thanks to Montessori materials, the majority of children can read in French and English, count to 9999 and master the 4 operations with concrete materials before the end of Grande Section. As a result, they are well prepared for elementary school, whether they continue with us or elsewhere.
