On Thursday 15 May, around fifty of our secondary school pupils took part in a day trip to London. This English-speaking school trip was organised by our English teacher, who is also the educational advisor for the English sections at our school.<\/p>

Our beautiful day in London began with a very early departure from Paris - Gare du Nord. Unfortunately, our departure was delayed by very tedious customs formalities (long live Brexit). We then travelled at high speed through the Channel Tunnel to London's St Pancras station.<\/p>

We wend our way through the streets of London, soaking up the city's bustling atmosphere. However, our group made our way to Buckingham Palace so as not to miss the Horse Guards Changing of the Guard show.
Our tour continues to the Abbey and Palace of Westminster. As we pass, we admire the iconic Big Ben clock tower.

We then head to Trafalgar Square and finally reach the magnificent Green Park, which graces central London with its vast areas of flowers and woodland.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Everyone came away delighted and excited by this wonderful English day. It gave them the opportunity to put their English language skills into practice. It gave them an even better understanding of why we are setting up the\u00a0English bilingualism<\/a>\u00a0in our school's classrooms from early childhood onwards.\u00a0Maternelle section<\/a>.

We're already looking forward to our next school trip, which is already fully booked with more than fifty students from primary through to high school. The trip will take us to Barcelona in October. We'll be in this emblematic city for three days of Spanish immersion, visiting the highlights of the capital of Catalonia, punctuated by two nights in a hotel.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
