At the Lycée International Montessori Athéna, At the heart of our educational project are linguistic excellence and international openness. This is why we prepare our students for Cambridge English exams, a world reference in English language assessment.

Cambridge examinations are recognised internationally by over 25,000 universities, employers and governments. They validate concrete skills in English, both oral and written, in a progressive and motivating framework for students.
At the Lycée International Montessori Athéna, We offer students the opportunity to take different levels of exams, adapted to their age and level:
Our students benefit from daily English teaching part-time immersion from nursery section, with qualified teachers and authentic materials. Visit Montessori pedagogy, based on autonomy, manipulation and the encouragement of self-expression, creates fertile ground for natural language learning.
Exam preparation is integrated into the activities, without pressure, in a spirit of valuing progress. Pupils are enthusiastic, proud of their results and motivated by concrete objectives.

By integrating Cambridge exams in our educational programme, we give our students an opportunity to passport to the world. These qualifications open doors, whether for further study abroad, language study trips, or simply the ability to communicate effectively in a globalised world.
At the Lycée International Montessori Athéna, the Cambridge exams are much more than just a test: they reflect a living, caring and ambitious approach to learning. They embody our desire to prepare children for an open, multilingual and constantly changing world.
Every year at the Lycée International Montessori Athéna, we organise several sessions to prepare for the Baccalauréat French exams. The teaching staff programme the sessions throughout the school year as the texts are prepared by our Première students. All of this is done with the full cooperation of their class teacher in French.
The examiner for these exams is particularly competent. She is a qualified French teacher who taught for many years at the Lycée International de Saint-Germain-en-Laye. She is also the author of a number of educational works sold in bookshops and the editor of the annales du baccalauréat.
She guides our students in the right direction thanks to her experience. And she corrects the five or six mock bac exams they take throughout the year with great accuracy. She also draws up explanatory sheets on their passage, with advice on how to improve their performance. After each individual pass, she gives the student a twenty-minute interview, during which she debriefs them and gives serious suggestions for improvement.

This is excellent training under real exam conditions for our first-year students. This intensive training has proved its worth over many years, with our candidates most often obtaining dexcellent exam grades of up to 19/20 and even 20/20.
Thanks to these mock Bac pre-tests, our students go into the real exams with much less stress. Their excellent results confirm that we are on the right track.

If necessary, in addition to the mock orals, we can ask this specialist to come and give a few extra lessons to help our students prepare as well as possible for the written tests.
